* NovaMind: My Secret Weapon for Planning for Success
Since I found NovaMind mind mapping software, I’ve completely changed the way I think about new ideas, absorb information from my reading and listening, and most importantly plan all aspects of my business both online and offline. Since mind mapping is a visual activity, I think the best way to illustrate what I mean is to show you an actual mind map I made using NovaMind. Here it is:
As you can see, this map represents my plan for this website. I knew I wanted to create a site about my best gurus and my favourite online marketing tools, and there were a number of aspects to the project. Making lists is an easy way to lose track of what has to be done, but seeing everything laid out in a mind map makes it very clear.
I like to print up my maps in colour and keep them in a binder so that I can not only find them when I need them, but also browse them for ideas.
I tried the mind mapping process a couple of years ago, but doing it manually was a bit of a drag and the free online mapping tools and programs seemed cumbersome and not very intuitive. Fortunately, I finally came across NovaMind and that has changed everything for me. It’s a small investment, and has already paid huge dividends in my business. I heartily recommend it to you.
